EcoGene provides DNA services and support to the Centre for Conservation Medicine at Auckland Zoo, the Department of Conservation’s centralised species recovery programmes, the Wildlife Enforcement Group, Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), universities, and regional councils. In addition, EcoGene supports clients in Australia and the Pacific.
Landcare Research launched EcoGene in 2008 to ensure a responsive service to client requests.EcoGene is able to offer a large range of tests in its state of the art facilities..

We have also put together a DNA sampling video, it explains how to collect and preserve different types of samples for DNA analysis.
