Identification from pure cultures
- EcoGene is now offering its microbial identification services. Our standard approach consists of DNA extraction, sequence of a single gene (Fungal ITS and bacterial 16S) in both directions and best match identification with Genbank sequences.

Additional Services
- Storage of cultures in the ICMP culture collection. Accessions are usually publically available, but we do offer a private use only option
- Storage of dried fungal specimens in the PDD herbarium
